  4. In a grouped legend, all plot symbols/elements and text are treated as one object. In an ungrouped legend, each plot symbol/element and its text are treated as a single object.

  7. Select a graph object that has a legend you want to group or ungroup.

  10. Choose Group Legend from the Graph menu.

  12. A check mark appears next to the command when the legend is grouped.
